What website(s) do you use most regularly?

I’m always finding myself in a weird corner of YouTube. I learned to edit mainly through YouTube tutorials, so I use it for learning new skills... I just started learning how to knit on there. I use it for researching, meditations or just watching old interviews, talks or music videos by my favourite artists and filmmakers. I also have been loving Audible recently. I was never an audio book person because it felt like cheating, but I’ve come around.

What’s the most recent piece of tech that you’ve bought?

An iPad that I never use, because it’s really just a super-sized iPhone.

What product could you not live without?

My favourite fragrance, Little Flower, by Regime des Fleurs

What’s the best film you’ve seen over the last year?

I saw Rumble Fish for the first time this past year. It was so strange, I loved it!

What film do you think everyone should have seen?

The Devil and Daniel Johnston. It has always stuck with me because it’s a compassionate portrait of a troubled person.

What’s your preferred social media platform?

TikTok; it makes me laugh the most.

What’s your favourite TV show?

The Sopranos; no explanation needed!

What’s your favourite podcast?

I go through so many podcast phases but, lately, I love This Jungian Life. It’s calming to listen to, and they interpret a dream submitted by one of their listeners in each episode.

What show/exhibition has most inspired you recently?

American Gurl at Hauser & Wirth last summer was awesome.

If you could only listen to one music artist from now on, who would it be?

I can’t do this… I don’t entertain that reality.

If there was one thing you could change about the advertising industry, what would it be?

I appreciate transparency and support of social issues and would like to see more of that, but in a more meaningful and measurable way. I think we see that happening in a way that isn’t too risky, mostly to do with identity politics, which is a good start. But, when we are living in a world where there are wars and genocide taking place, it’s hard to feel good about working on massive campaigns while others are suffering. These companies have a lot of influence and power that could be used for good, and I respect when people take a brave stance on what they believe in.

Who or what has most influenced your career?

Just watching a lot of TV and music videos growing up, I’ve always been obsessed with popular culture. So... myself!

Tell us one thing about yourself that most people won’t know.

When I was either-years-old I won second place in a Britney Spears [above] impersonation contest that was held at a shopping mall.
